UI Updates

Frontend day: gallery, map controls, theme, collapsible tray, live syncing.

Today was basically an all-day UI session.

  • Thumbnails got the occlusion percentage in the top-left corner with a drop shadow and custom font.
  • Status mark moved to the bottom-right corner instead.
  • other smoll stuff, matters for readability at a glance though.

Map

  • Controls got simplified
  • Drawer layout got refined
  • Added a collapsible control tray so the map view doesn’t feel cluttered
  • Connection indicator was ending up below the buttons for some reason and it was kind of a pain to fix
  • The map bubble count icon was getting covered by the pins it was supposed to be labeling, also kind of a pain
  • Labels and badges overall got another pass.

Live Sync

  • Live sync now includes deletes, so if something gets removed on the backend it actually disappears from the client without a refresh.

Lots of polish commits today, Just tons of minor tweaking but the app feels noticeably more coherent now.

The theme’s better, and it’s starting to feel field-ready.
